Fava Beans, Chickpeas, Spices, Sea Salt, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Baking Powder (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Cornstarch, Monocalcium Phosphate), Dehydrated Parsley, Sunflower Oil.
Directions
Baked Falafel: Mix 1 cup Falafel Mix with 3/4 cup water. Let stand for 30 to 60 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. On a baking sheet form mixture into 2 inch round balls using Falafel scooper or by hand. Spray the Falafel balls lightly with olive oil. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes, rotating the pan at the halfway mark. (Make 12 Falafel balls). Traditional fried Falafel: Mix 1 cup Falafel Mix with 3/4 cup water. Let stand for 30 to 60 minutes. Heat 4 inches of oil on medium high heat (about 275 degrees-300 degrees F). Form mixture into 2 inch round balls using Falafel scooper or by hand. (Makes 12 Falafel balls). Falafel Stuffed Pita: Slice the pita bread in half and open each half to form a pocket. Line each pocket with 3-4 falafel balls and 2 leaves of lettuce. Fill pocket with tomato, cucumber and onion. Drizzle generously with tahini sauce. (Serves 4). Servings: Falafel Mix: 1 Cup; 2-3 (About 12 balls). Falafel Mix: 1 Box; 4-6 (About 21 balls). Water: 3/4 Cup; (About 12 balls). Water: 1-1/3 Cup; (About 21 balls).
